2 BECOME 1

by Ling ling Goh

When Patti Smith wore a men’s shirt with a jacket over her shoulder on the cover of Horses in 1975, a shift had begun to take place that challenged our perceptions of what gender is and how it can be portrayed through style. At LINGWU, style is always meant to be versatile and non-restrictive so why should we let gender restrict our style choices or the way we design our products?

The LingWu Gender Agenda is a candid conversation – and celebration – with the gender diverse in our community.

We invited six unique and creative individuals to sit and chat, laugh, think out loud, and, most importantly, share their thoughts about what gender means and if it really matters.

The LingWu 2BECOME1 Gender Agenda is not about seeking answers, but listening to perspectives about what gender means to all of us.
